Internet Password Organizer + Giveaway

I received the Internet Password Organizer in the mail some time ago and I must be honest and say that I was a little skeptical about it at first. You see I already had a little notebook that I kept beside my laptop with all my passwords written in. I thought I was on top of it yet as I added more and more passwords to my notebook I was increasingly getting more and more frustrated trying to find the passwords that I needed. I do try to often use the same password but in many instances it just isn't possible. I also keep my business and personal emails and passwords completely separate which often creates many more username/password combinations than I have the brain capacity to remember.

However I really didn't know how time consuming all that page flipping in my little red notebook was until I started to use the Internet Password Organizer. You see what make the Internet Password Organizer so special is that it is alphabetized and that my friends makes me very, very happy! I am saving all sorts of time and hair pulling craziness now.

The organizer has a spiral binding that allows the book to open flat and also includes reinforced A-Z tabbed dividers with two letters per tab. Each space has room to record the webpage, username, password and notes. Normally the organizer sells for $19.99 but right now they have a 20% off Father's Day promotion going on when you use the coupon code "Dad".

This week I am also giving away a copy for one lucky reader! All you have to do is leave a comment on this post before Friday, May 23rd 11:59 pm pst to be entered. If you don't have a blog please remember to include your email address.

Good luck!

My list of passwords is also near capacity. I am *this close* to needing something like this--winning it would be great.

Woo hoo! I wanna win! There are some websites where I have to change my password every time I go there because I do not have them written down. This would make life so much easier!

tea4two321 said...

This would be a lifesaver!

Oh my husband would love me if I had one of those. He is always asking me what the password for this and that is and when I try to look it up in my little notebook I either can't find it or I changed it and forgot to change it on my notebook. Yikes!
Would LOVE LOVE to win this!

I so need this!!

This sounds like it would work great!! We used to just use one central password, but now all the sites have different requirements, so we have several.

OMG! I didn't know that such a thing existed! How I would LOVE to be your winner!

I SO need this! I hate using the same password for everything but hate to use anything else for fear I'd forget it. I've not been organized enough to actually use a notebook to keep track of passwords.

Anonymous said...

I need this too. I have a small notebook as well that I write my passwords in but they are no particular order and I have to search through all the pages to find the one!

Tiffers said...

How unbelievably brilliant! Why didn’t I think of it? I need it! I have absolutely NO organization in this department. I find myself continually needing to hit the “remind me” or “hint” buttons on my websites…terrible thing to admit.

I would love to add this next to my computer :-)

Okay I am so totally with you on this. I also have a notebook that I keep this kind of information in. Oh it would be wonderful to have something like this to organize my passwords in to make it easier to find them.

Between work, school and the many websites I go to for fun, I need something to keep me organized!

This would help me out with all the sites I use! I hate having to reset them! Thanks!

Anonymous said...

Of course, I'm not entering since I have one but isn't it amazing! I keep separate passwords for business and personal and some have to big 6 characters or 8 characters long or have numbers and letters, blah, blah.
But now it is so easy to keep track.
I'm glad you got a chance to try it out.

While I use RoboForm to keep track of passwords, security questions, etc., there are always a few sites that use Flash and RoboForm can't read them. This would definitely help organizing those sites.

This would be pretty cool to have. I use an address book so I can organize my sites but it would be nice to have something specifically designed for that. Thanks for the giveaway!

I so need one of these! I'm always misplacing my little index card crammed full of passwords. This would help me immensely!

Dawn said...

Oh, boy, could I use that. I am always having to reset my passwords because I lose the little papers I've written them on. I try to remember them, but it doesn't work.

Lori said...

I've never seen anything like this, but it would be so handy!!! I am constantly creating new accounts at sites that I already have accounts for just because I can't remember my password or username!

I started writing passwords down in my spiral bound notebook many years ago. Even my kids know what I mean when I need my "yellow" notebook. This would be a wonderful solution to being able to add more entries to my notebook. A tip for when you have to change passwords: use a pencil when you write them down. It is neater to erase and re-write than to have to cross out or white out and try to figure out how to write over in pen.

It'd be great to win the giveaway. Thanks!

oooh sweet! i'd love to win! :)

zobars said...

I try to remember them but I cannot and I have a really bad habit of writing them down in bits of paper that are closest to my computer. I am in to win.

I have the notebook also. It just does not cut it. I need this.

Hmpf! Here I thought I invented the notebook system. :) This looks like a great idea and a great product. I like the spiral binding so it opens flat.

Oh wow! I'm constantly forgetting passwords and I hate to find new sites because I'll never remember the username and password. This would be great to have. Count me in!

Harmony said...

This is a pretty handy item! I typically use the same password for everything as I don't have the best memory, not the best security I know. This would be a great way to use more passwords and not have to have them all memorized and it looks nice too. Great giveaway!

Oh man, I didn't know how much I would need/use this until I started reading your description. As time goes on, and passwords being required are more complicated, my easy ones aren't working anymore - this would be such a help to keep track of all of them.

I, too, have the notebook that is quickly filling up with my passwords. What a great idea!

Looks great and I would really like to use something like that but my husband (who is a network administrator) probably wouldn't go for it. He seems to think I should remember all the passwords but it drives me nuts when I try over and over again until I get kicked off! Maybe I could convince him if I happen to win. :) Thanks for the give-away!
